30 May 2005Now all I got to do is find me an old cordless phone and start hacking.
New New York
30 May 2005I’m am now back in Jersey again after another fun weekend in NY staying
with friend Jason. This time Darren and his fiancee Sally came along
and we all kicked about together - we went to a broadway show on
Saturday night which was really good fun. We saw Chitty-chitty bang
bang and I paid $8 for half a […]
New York
23 May 2005Well I finally managed to get out of New Jersey and made it into New
York to see my man JP. I ducked out of work and straight onto a train,
then I met up with Jason and two of his work friends from IBM at a
Seafood restaurant in White Plains (about 30 min north of manhattan).

Where are my shoes?!?!?
20 May 2005Apparently there was a massive hail
storm in Brisbane last night. The above is not something that you get
used to seeing in Brisbane. The following was taken in Toowong, which

people were getting stuck in the slush at the bottom of the hill near
our apartment. […]

Japanese
17 May 2005??????????
Thanks to my mate Adam
for that (cryptic) comment, he is sitting in an Osaka cyber-cafe and
was kind enough to illustrate the dual character-set features of his
keyboard. For the curious it means good morning - and for the very
curious go find out what this means ???????
Furniture
16 May 2005As promised (for those that cared) I’ve taken a couple of pictures of
our new furniture. It is nice to be able to sit on something other than
the floor after work and both sides of the sofa recline seperately - as
does the armchair.
GreaseMonkey
15 May 2005No I haven’t suddenly taken an interest in changing my own oil, rather
this is a rather neat little extension for firefox. The examples cites
being able to link together information from disparate websites -
sounds a bit like html you say but this little baby does it seemlessly.
In practice it lets you modify the website you are […]
LInux HTPC
14 May 2005Have been interested in these for a long time and had most of one
built. But the inability to get legal access to the TV show times (in
Australia the networks retain all rights to Timetabling information)
and the frying of my video card put it on the back burner.
Since I’ve been in the US tho, we […]
Aquarium
12 May 2005Now just got to find some fish that can survive in mineral oil… suggestions anyone? I’ll post pictures after the site gets done being slashdotted.
